CNS successfully organized sports day 2025 which was attended by more than 200 people participating various different games including football, volleyball, cricket, running & tug of war to name few.

The Canterbury Nepalese Society organized a vibrant and fun-filled Dashain Picnic on October 6, 2024, at the beautiful Orton Bradley Park. The event brought together community members for a day of joy, laughter, and togetherness. Two double-decker buses departed from Redwood Park, carrying enthusiastic participants eager to celebrate the biggest Nepali festival with their friends and family.
Teej Festival 2024 at Redwood School was a grand success! With cultural performances, delicious Daar, and an exciting raffle draw, the celebration was filled with joy and togetherness. Thanks to all participants, volunteers, and sponsors for making this event spectacular.

Today, we had the incredible opportunity to take our Nepali language class students on an educational and fun-filled trip to Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. With 30 enthusiastic children joining the adventure, the day was filled with excitement as they got up close and personal with New Zealand’s unique wildlife. From feeding animals to learning about conservation efforts, the students had an interactive experience that deepened their appreciation for nature and wildlife.
