The Canterbury Nepalese Society organized a vibrant and fun-filled Dashain Picnic on October 6, 2024, at the beautiful Orton Bradley Park. The event brought together community members for a day of joy, laughter, and togetherness.
Two double-decker buses departed from Redwood Park, carrying enthusiastic participants eager to celebrate the biggest Nepali festival with their friends and family.
The day was packed with exciting games, cultural performances, dance, and delicious food that everyone enjoyed. Kids had an amazing time with fun activities specially arranged for them.
The Canterbury Nepalese Society is delighted to have hosted such a wonderful gathering and looks forward to more events that strengthen our community bond.
